Find Good Info
Hi, I am a 42 year old senior manager for a wholesaler. My employer may be sold to a competitor in the near future and I am considering a career change to the insurance and financial products sector. I am curious as to what firm(s) you might recommend as high quality employers. My income level will be challenging for me to match as a first year rep. That said, I would like a company that I can could consider my first year or so as an “investment” towards better things. Thanks again for all you your opinions!
This is about reference of insurance questions information.

Do you wish to be fully independent or work with an organization?
If you wish to be independent, get with a company first to learn the ropes.
If you wish to go to an organization, look into Help Building Wealth, World Financial Group or Primerica. HBW and WFG came along after Primerica, and if I recall correctly, were created by people who either quit or were terminated from Primerica.
All 3 require you to think like a business owner instead of an employee. However, all 3 should be able to match your previous income within 2 years if not less.
If you wish to go with a salaried job in thus industry, you are capping your potential. As to whom would be good in that respect, try Edward Jones. I have a buddy that works there that likes it.
