Why do people think the insurance companies are lying when they say the Baucus health care bill will raise?

the cost of health insurance for Americans?
The Baucus bill requires all future health insurance policies to include:
Cover all preexisting conditions.
No life time cap on claims.
All doctors office visits.
Dental coverage on all policies.
All prescriptions included.
All mental health issues.
How can Liberals gloss over the fact that that’s going to make health insurance more expensive?
Just saying the insurance companies make too much money already is not going to change reality.

Maybe because they’re not lying and they actually know how to run insurance companies, unlike the government.

I agree. In order to cover all people with pre-existing conditions premiums for everyone will have to skyrocket.

You’re right. But most people do not research facts. They only know the talking points from the liberal media. And insurance companies are an easy target – few defend them.

It has to raise costs. Only fools can believe it will not.

insurance companies will distort the truth in order to keep their excessive profits
other countries can manage a universal health care system we can too
at reasonable rates

They wrote the bill. It’s a corporate welfare check. We need to get rid of the private insurance industry altogether and institute single-payer.

Or the govt. can stave off the increased costs of premiums by offering Medicare for anyone who wants to pay extra for it instead of paying for private insurance.
Once the insurance companies have to compete with Medicare, their costs will come down.
Why do I suspect that the final bill will have a Medicare for all, option in it?

i think it would be higher because we will have to treat the homeless and drug users that have bad health problems already?
