Perhaps they are young or generally healthy and have not had major claims. Maybe they have no real experience with the system. Maybe they are fighting health care reform because they are backing their party’s position without really knowing much. There are probably many reasons.

You will believe anything you hear and obviously, you don’t heave health insurance. Everyone I know has health insurance, including me, and NO ONE I know has EVER had a claim denied nor have they EVER been dropped by an insurance provider. Maybe that’s why we’re not reporting problems with our insurance and maybe that’s why 80% of Americans are HAPPY with the insurance they have!

Exactly WHO said republicans are not fighting their health insurance? Who says Republicans do not want health insurance reform? The FACT is we DO want health insurance reform, we just don’t want the Government to run it.

I am very happy with my insurance. I think a lot of these numbers are fabricated, I know a lot of people and very few of them have either had a claim denied or dropped coverage.
Most of these denied claims and dropped insurance are from idiots who did not have insurance and then got sick so tried to get insurance. Of course you are going to get denied or dropped, you were sick before you signed up!

Perhaps the Republicans are the ones who have read their insurance contracts and are smart enough to ask for pre-approval for procedures. Failure to do these things would fit with my image of a Democrat as someone who is basically a nitwit.

other than the fact that tricare isn’t the best insurance i’ve ever been on its not terrible. Hard to get in to see the doc. Wait, that is government run, my private insurance before that worked great though. Funny isn’t it. Look how well government housing worked out in this country. Do you really want government run health care?

I believe that most people who oppose health care reform on this site, especially the public option, and who say that everything is fine in the magic kingdom of private insurance companies, are paid by the said companies.

Because a lot of them are imbeciles who are collecting Social Security Checks that was fought for by a Democrat named FDR, and a lot of them have Medicare Health Insurance that was fought for by a Democrat named LBJ and finally a lot of them are on Medicaid fought and won by another Democrat named Ted Kennedy. So you see if it wasn’t for all these public health plans they all would be down in the hospital emergency waiting rooms looking for help from those benevolent republican doctors who are stuffing money into their pockets from those giant insurance providers that earn thirty billion in profits each and every year. Then they say we don’t want public health care, what do you think you already have including all the politicians? Public Health Care.

Because they support the Lies and Distortions that have become the Republican tactics. If they admitted to having had their share of problems with Health Care they would lose their standing for saying that Reform is not needed.

Wow! Did you know insurance policies are contract? It might be a good idea to read them before signing. Did you know every state has an insurance commission that can refuse the right of an insurance company to operate in their state? Why don’t we see headlines to support your claim. Here is an idea. Nearly everybody agrees there should be health care reform. To do the wrong reform makes it worse not better. A political victory that is harmful is what the Democrats seek. Doing the wrong thing is worse than doing nothing yet you think the Democrats have your best interest at heart. Fool!

They aren’t. Republicans don’t want to have ONE health Insurance that just “happens” to be Government owned, thereby making it really EASY to die from the common cold.

Maybe because most of us are self employed. We can afford the best insurance money can buy. Go back to college, get a good education, and a degree. You too can live the American dream.

Funny how all these Republicans talk about Health Insurance being a contract but forget to mention that they(The Insurance Companies) pay millions every year in lawyers retainers and fees to make sure they can do anything they want including dropping you if you forget to mention a varicose vein or a wart. All the while avoiding the question about why they all say they have never had a claim cancelled or been dropped by an Insurance company.
