My brother fractured his hand and we are both full-time students but we have no insurance. Is there any type of financial help available for him?

Are you full-time students at a college? They often have on-campus med facilities that will help you out. OR you can check to see if your community has a county insurance program. These provide $5 co-pay on meds, $10 on x-rays, and a reduction in surgery costs. The local hospital would probably be happy to give you that info.

Totally. Their are many donations provided to hospitals and many hospitals will absorb the bill. You just have to find the right person to direct you towards medicare offices. They should have told you this at the hospital.

Most definitely. Most hospitals offer what they call charity care. It’s a program that (based upon the patients household income) will pay all or part of the bill. You would definitely qualify.
