All members of your parents household and any other regular operator of the vehicles must be listed as drivers on your parents policy. Failure to do so is a material misrepresentation and will jeopardize coverage. When you get your own car you can add the vehicle to your parents policy or buy a separate policy.

Hi,
You need to be listed as a driver on your parents insurance. When you get your own car check out the source I’ve listed below (you’re parents can check it out too and it would probably save them money but lots of people don’t like change). They have great rates, especially for new drivers whose policies are really expensive with other companies.
Good luck!

If you live in the household, you need to be listed on their policy. What will happen if you have an accident is that the insurance will pay, but usually drops the policy, or it skyrockets b/c a driver was not listed.

It depends on the policy, but in general you need to be added to the policy in order to be covered unless you don’t live at the same address.

You should be added in their insurance policy.
You can compare how their quotes will change after adding you in internet, for example here – car-insurance.66ghz.com
