If Democrats are the party of choice, why do they support forcing people to buy health insurance?

What if I don’t want health insurance, isn’t that my choice?

Way to extrapolate a single argument about a single topic into EVERYTHING. Not proper my friend, not proper.

Yes, it’s your choice. Or at least it should be. No type of insurance should be mandatory.

And there you have it. You will pay for it whether you can afford it or not and you will not complain because to do so would appear ungrateful. Choice? I don’t think so.

I can sort of identify with your logic. If you don’t want it you shouldn’t need to have it. Logically speaking though, it might cost more for America for you not to get insurance since when you get sick and need emergency services and you don’t have insurance other people will have to pay higher taxes for you. As a Republican who doesn’t believe in that maybe you can tell them not to save you- if you wanted to stick to your beliefs you would say something like “Let me die, I don’t want the government infringing on other people’s pockets!”

The end result of Obamacare is redistribution of wealth. Middle class will be taxed into lower class status.
The whole thing reeks, but they run the whole idea on “everyone having access to healthcare” which is a crock.
There was a period of time in my life when I did not have health insurance, and when I needed medical care, I still got it. The docotors were willing to work with me, and all was well!
Even illegal aliens have access to healthcare, so what are they talking about?!
Bottom line, the government wants to run our lives and manage our money!

By the way, you will have a choice, but should you need medical care, they will slap one helluva fine on you!

Same reason you have to buy auto insurance, by not doing so it jacks up prices for everyone else.

When they say choice, they mean it like Ford did, “you can have any color you want, as long as it’s black.”

While you certainly to make a valid point, it’s also very minute. Think of everything else a Democrat fights for:

*The right to choose what you do with your body
*The right to marry who you will
*The right have fair labor laws
*The right for children and the elderly to have continued health coverage
*The right to get paid a minimum, fair wage
*The right to for whites and blacks to go to the same school
*The right for whites and blacks to drink from the same fountains in public
*The right of a black woman (Rosa Parks) to not have to give up her seat to a white man

What freedom of choice have the Republicans advocated?

Yeah, you are the guy that shows up at the Emergency Room for a regular cold or headache, then me and the rest of us are paying for your hospital bill. I have a friend that is 62 and wants to retire, except the health insurance for him and his wife (no kids) is going to cost over $1,100 per month. That is more than my home mortgage and electric bill combined for one month. Do you see a problem here? The Insurance Companies are ripping us off!!!!
People like you make me wonder if we should require an intelligence test to determine if idiots like you should vote or not.
