I live in Canada, Ontario. I am wondering if i can put my motorcycle under my dads auto insurance which i am an occasional driver on the same policy? Does he need to approve of this if it is possible or can i do it on my own? I do not want to pay a grand for a 4 month ride.

So you want your Dad to pay the $1000. Don’t you think he would question why his bill went up all of a sudden. Of course he has to approve it. Auto policies do not usually cover motorcycles.

Car and motorcycle insurance would be separate policies. As to whether or not you could put a motorcycle policy on your dad’s insurance would be a question for his agent. Have him call and ask.

autoinsurance.bebto.com – try this one. I have their car insurance and, as I know, they can provide such a service.
