Are you enjoying a nice cold beer in celebration of the stalling of the unconstitutional health insurance bill?

In: Health Insurance

As an independent person who has paid all my health care costs over the last 11 years on time, and with no insurance, I’m celebrating the little time I have left before democrats force me into a fight with the IRS over their unconstitutional mandate to purchase insurance!

Is either of your Senators a Democrat? What about your representative?

Write them a nice polite note telling them you are looking forward to voting them out of power at the earliest possible moment. Time to put the fear in these people.

If universal health care passes with the government as single payer you wont have to. Are you aware the insurance companies are funding the tea parties?

To what part of the constitution are you implying it violates? Seems congress has all the power it needs to do this legally with the spending and commerce clauses. Please enlighten me.
I am an independent as well and there are some aspects of the health care bill we absolutely need. Our emergency rooms and personal care physicians are going out of business and we (US tax payers) are paying for that as a direct result of Americans not having insurance. Who do you think pays the expenses of those who go to an ER, cannot be turned away and receive treatment? We do. This health care option will allow those individuals an alternative BEFORE having to go to the ER. An opportunity to receive PREVENTATIVE treatments. This is a case of spending a little to save a lot.

This whole health care debate has turned from POLICY making to POLITICS. It is honestly disgusting what our government has become in the past 50 years. Career politicians are ruining our government (T. Kennedy spent 47 years in congress….talk about stagnant politics).
